food for thought for the easter triduum

it's quite fascinating and amazing that the greatest love of all goes beyond the bounds of reason and logic. how could one give so much love, so great that he gave up his life that others may live, to many that most of the time do not even notice him or, to a greater extent, mock him in front of his face?

and now we celebrate this love. we fast not because god is dead, but because he gave up his life that we may live. we do the stations of the cross not as a road to death, but a road to new life. we venerate the cross not because it is a symbol of punishment, but that of salvation.

we do everything because we have been truly loved and saved.

have a meaningful holy week to everyone.
